Cultural Intelligence of Expatriate Health Workers in an Inuit Context: An Exploration of Managerial Competency Profiles

Developing cultural diversity skills is a major ethical challenge for organizations operating within marginalized communities. This study defines intelligence profiles us two-step approach. In the first step, managers (n = 31) are invited to complete Cultural Intelligence Quotient Assessment Test identify and describe different managerial profiles. second semi-structured interviews conducted 17) better understand characteristics of developed in phase one. The findings indicate that there three typical profiles: (1) opportunist, (2) modern missionary, (3) seasoned sage.
